Our Story
Founded in 2018 in Lewiston, MEDCo is Maine’s go-to cannabis connoisseur. MEDCo produces quality products for retail and wholesale, and our craft cannabis is meticulously grown in state-certified warehouses. All of our incredible edibles, tinctures, lemon-aid, and THC salves are passionately crafted at our downtown Lisbon Street location, MEDCo’s on-site state-certified kitchen, and the only open air kitchen in the state. You can watch our expert staff create all your favorite things.

CEO
Alex’s primary purpose is building a cannabis company that preserves the culture of the industry and the soul of the plant. He is a believer in the trifecta of maintaining a strong high: a rotation of flower, edibles, and concentrates. A lifelong career in side-by-side hospitality and cannabis converged for Alex into a cannabis company founded on hospitality. He attributes this to universal alignment and the power of combining visualization with hard work.
Edibles Production Team Member - Downtown Lewiston Kitchen
In her off time, Angie enjoys attending festivals and concerts, tie dying, and soap making. The strain Peanut Butter Breath is Angie’s favorite. She enjoys how much it makes her giggle. Angie pursued a job in the cannabis industry because she likes the community aspect.
Manager - Both Main Street Lewiston Locations
Mr. Chris is a hip-hop head with a passion for creating music and collecting sneakers. He prefers indica strains, particularly those that are higher in limonene such as Wedding Cake & Ayahuasca Purple. He believes in the community around cannabis just as much as he believes in the plant itself. MEDCo has been that gateway for him to help positively impact society and exchange knowledge with those involved in the cannabis world.
Bookkeeping Specialist - MEDCo Office
At any point in the day Cortney can be found dancing her heart out. She also enjoys disc golf, concerts, and driving around listening to her favorite music. Cortney absolutely loves the strain Wedding Cake and her favorite terpene is caryophyllene. Miss Cortney wanted to join the MEDCo team to help educate the community on the beneficial effects of medical cannabis.
Manager - Gardiner Location
Davon (Day for short) enjoys singing and dancing to K-Pop, sailing, cooking, and playing video games. His favorite products are our concentrates: they taste, smell, and feel great. After working in the fast food industry for twelve years, he realized he wanted to do something that would actually help people. He looked for a job in the cannabis industry to start his journey, and MEDCo answered the call. He’s been here since the Gardiner location opened, and he enjoys every aspect of the job.

Donna enjoys shopping, loves shoes, and loves loves loves dogs. Her favorite strain is Ayahuasca Purple for its amazing aroma and effects. Donna was drawn to the cannabis industry for a break from the rigidity of the corporate world, and for the opportunity to help positively affect the health and well-being of the people in her community.
